Who is Karima-Catherine?
Well, first, I am glad to see you here, on my blog, where I share thoughts and ideas. I discuss social media and its integration to business strategy. I constantly monitor the social media landscape to watch industry trends, tools, brands online evolution and customer behavior as well community building.
I am a citizen of the world and I am an insatiable traveler. I have a very curious mind and anything that relates to social media passionates me.
Connecting, sharing, debating (cannot get the French out of me!) and being positive make me, as a social media consultant, all the more enthusiatic about the social space and its capabilities.
Observing the complexity of online communities is what has probably drove me to social media in 2004. I am passionate about interactions, whether online or in real life. And I provoke as well as participate stimulating, challenging and passionate conversations.
As a business and social media advisor, I help businesses and entrepreneurs integrate social media into their business strategy in a holistic manner.
Social media is not stand alone! A company needs a good product or service, efficient processes, a solid customer service, well-trained staff and a solid branding in order to take full advantage of social media. Social media will support all areas of an organization. Every organisation and employee will understand the value of social media and its importance in the shift of paradygm of customer versus brand relationship. Social media is about Authenticity, Transparency and Conversation.
